Overview
The Guard Tower is a building within The Player's yard. It is a massive, dark age construction with an armory, a lunch room, and the appointed captain's sleeping quarters.
Upgrading the Guard Tower
Just like the other buildings and buildable constructions within his yards, the player can upgrade the Guard Tower, with the upgrades relating to The Guard Tower itself and the Defense of the player's house.
- Upgrade Rooms:
- Dilapidated (Starting): Right now, the player's captain is forced to huddle in a damp and barely furnished apartment that gives them a noticeable Happiness penalty.
- Adequate ($1,000): The player's captain enjoys a decent chamber with a large bed, a desk and enough wall-hangings to keep the cold dampness of the night away.
- Imperial ($7,500): The player's captain enjoys a luxurious apartment with a double bed, electricity, a private bathroom and expensive decorations. The feeling of appreciation from his commander provides a daily +3 Happiness boost.
- Add Defense:
- Level I (Starting): None
- Level II ($900): Reinforced parapet (Decrease escape chance by 5)
- Level III ($10,000): Reinforced parapet (Decrease escape chance by 5) and gothic wall spikes (Decrease escape chance by 10) (Total escape chance decrease by 15)
- Level IV ($70,000): Reinforced parapet (Decrease escape chance by 5), gothic wall spikes (Decrease escape chance by 10), and motion detectors (Decrease escape chance by 20) (Total escape chance decrease by 35)
