Bandits
Bandits, raiders, freebooters... the terms mean different things, but can get used loosely. And some of the groups referred to as bandits might not agree with that description. Whatever; the human nations on Irendoria are plagued with large numbers of individuals who survive by taking from others through force of arms, most of whom who are organized into groups - of varying size, and degrees of cohesiveness. They mostly prey on communities in Ikaanos, and so mostly oppose, defend themselves against, and sometimes attack, the forces of The Republic... rather than fighting against each other. As such, they can be regarded as one of Ikaano's Factions - though a leaderless and anarchic one. Their informal "faction HQ" is Fenrik's Tavern in The Underworld, the subterranean community hidden under Ikaanos City. If you want to weaken the control of the Skyguard over Ikaanos, you can donate weapons or money to Fenriks, certain that the goods will be put to bad use.
Bandit groups
Large forces
Some of the large bandit groups powerful enough to attack Republic military targets include:

Smaller crews
Smaller groups that a well-armed private force might be able to take on include:
- The Hessian Crew – known for cruel rape sprees and tormenting easy targets that they catch in their sphere of control.
- The Hide Your Daughters Crew – known for abducting and raping young urchin girls.
- The Lonely Rangers Company – expert marksmen who once took out an entire Skyguard fortress.
- The Bearole Company – lowlife freebooters who rape, pillage and murder everything they can lay their hands on.
- The Celior looters – a feared force from beyond the Kahill plateau to the west.
- Los Bichos Locos – one of the few remaining neo-Mexican cartels that formed on Raana right after The Severance.

- The Group of Hope
- The Golden Dawn

Ikaanos criminals
