The Kymanto Syndicate is one of Ikaanos' oldest organizations. In a time past, it was a political powerhouse, able to exert its influence on every human settlement on the planet. The Syndicate was formed nearly three hundred years ago by seven old-world families that held significant power in the early days of the colonization effort. The seven heads of these families made up the "Red Council," which continues to govern the Syndicate to this day. The Red Council is headed by a chairman from one of the seven families. The Kiduro family has held this position for the last hundred years. As such, most organizations view the Kiduros as the true authority of the Kymanto Syndicate.

Much of the Syndicate's power has faded over the years. The Kymanto Syndicate of modern day is an aging, failing organization due to the loss of its monopoly on mechanical production and off-city trade. House Cyker, Kymanto's chief rival going back almost 75 years, has a large assembly plant that now accounts for a large portion of that lost production, leading to increased tension between the two factions. Nowadays, Kymanto relies on its sizeable share of the slave market and income from large swathes of farmland outside the city to stay afloat. With opportunistic enemies all around, it seems like the Kymanto Syndicate is on the verge of becoming nothing more than a note in the history books of Raana's future.

The Syndicate is headquartered in Kymanto Hall, in Ikaanos' Hamilton Square district, from where you can interact with the faction. Thanks to your brother Joseph having ties with the Syndicate, they start off willing to trust you, at this time when they are looking for allies.
