Background

Stacey McClung is a female NPC; the heir to the McClung family, she dedicates her time to the exploration for and study of ancient artifacts. The child of Arth and Harlow McClung, she underwent her first adventure with her father at the age of 16. After 2 months of trekking through the Jungle, the duo found the crashed remnants of a master satellite from Astarox 4.

Harlow, a first-waver, claimed the satellite could bring bad forced to Raana; her death two years later solidified Stacey's fear of technology. When Stacey turned 21, her father disappeared on an expedition, leaving her alone. She became a well known relic hunter until she was enslaved shortly after meeting the player.

Character Traits

Starting Stats

Relic Hunting

Stacey can be assigned to continue her search for ancient relics and artifacts. The relic hunter engine generates random relics and their respective quest chains.

Relic Hunter Assignment

When assigned as a Relic Hunter, Stacey will generate progress towards a new relic quest. Progress speed is determined from the average of Stacey's Intelligence, Discipline, and Academic stats.

Additional speed modifiers:

  • Allowance (per $100): +5 (Max 30)
  • Fame (500+): +10
  • Historical Society Standing (10+): +10
  • Library (per level): +5
  • No library: -50
  • No allowance: -75
  • Willpower (10-): -20
  • Happiness (10-): -100
  • Happiness (20-): -25
  • Corruption (70+): -15
  • Corruption (90+): -15

Quest

Once Stacey has finished researching the relic, you can generate a quest by asking her about the relic. Quests are randomly generated, and can take you to multiple locations, and involve varying amounts of combat and/or skill rolls. Bringing backup is highly recommended.

Relic Processing

Once you have retrieved the relic, you can talk to Stacey to process the relic, where you will be given the choice to sell the relic for money, donate the relic for standing with the Historical Society, or keep the relic for influence and other potential bonuses. Kept sexual relics will give household corruption; relic weaponry will give a combat training bonus, and occult relics will give occult skill.
