Incantations are unique abilities the MC is able to unlock upon reading both the Kessian Manuscripts and Rite of Passage Occult Skill Books, obtained in the Prowler In The Depths Chapter 3. Each incantation offers a unique ability at the cost of draining the player's sanity.

The efficiency and cost of an incantation are directly affected by the MC's Occult skill:

  • Level 1-29: Dabbler.
  • Level 30-74: Adept.
  • Level 75: Master.

Dabbler/Adept/Master.

Mind Melt

The Mind Melt Incantation is unlocked after reading the "Mind Melt" Occult Skill book, which is unlocked by completing the Rite of Passage.It can be used from an NPC's interact menu.

Effects:

  • -5/-5/-6 willpower (NPC).
  • -3/-1/-1 willpower (Player).

Cydikar's Touch

Cydikar's Touch is unlocked after completing the forenamed skill book, unlocked after completing the Rite of Passage. It may be used in combat, at the cost of sanity.

Effects:

  • +75/+100/+125 HP (Player).
  • -1 Willpower (Player).

Voice of Adem

Voice of Adem is unlocked after completing the forenamed skill book, unlocked after completing the Rite of Passage. It may be used in combat, at the cost of sanity.

Effects:

  • -125 HP (Selected Enemy).
  • -3/-2/-1 Willpower (Player).
