The Kymanto Syndicate is one of Ikaanos' oldest organizations. In a time past, it was a political powerhouse, able to exert its influence on every human settlement on the planet. The Syndicate was formed nearly three hundred years ago by seven old-world families that held significant power in the early days of the colonization effort. The seven heads of these families made up the "Red Council," which continues to govern the Syndicate to this day. The Red Council is headed by a chairman from one of the seven families. The Kiduro family has held this position for the last hundred years. As such, most organizations view the Kiduros as the true authority of the Kymanto Syndicate.
