Overview
The Kitchen is a room located on the Ground Floor of the Player's Home.
Upgrade
The player can perform the following upgrades on the Kitchen:
- Level I (Starting): A grimy and mildew-infested room that's at least 30 years past its expiration date. Broken dressers, cracked floorboards and a brownish hue coating all surface create a dilapidated atmosphere that can turn off even the hardiest maid. Daily Influence gain: -1 & Daily Contentment gain: 0
- Level II ($2,500): A basic, well-functioning kitchen. Contains no special luxury but is at least well-maintained and good enough for the Ikaanian middle class. Daily Influence gain: 0 & Daily Contentment gain: 1
- Level III ($75,000): A gleaming, elegant kitchen for the upper class. Newly-laid floorboards, painted tiles and a myriad of luxurious decorations create an atmosphere of wealth and general well-being that impress most visitors. Daily Influence gain: 0 & Daily Contentment gain: 2

- Wood-burning kitchen stove. (Starting)
- Café-latte maker. ($500)
